APPLIQUÉ DESIGNS, FONTS, AND MONOGRAMS

Appliqué is ornamental needle work in which pieces or patches of fabric in different shapes and patterns are sewn or stuck onto a larger piece to form a picture or pattern. They can be fonts or monograms as seen below.

STITCHED FONT

This embroidery style uses needle work to apply thread in a specific font on the garment or fabric as pictured below.

STRAIGHT MONOGRAM

These take the initials in order First, Middle, Last for 3 letter monograms, or First, Last for 2 letter.

  • This monogram takes the initials in order First, Middle, Last for 3 letter monograms.

  • This monogram takes the initials for First and Last, 2 letter.

CLASSIC MONOGRAM

These monograms are in classic order, first LAST middle.
